MBA Exams - A Race for the 99th Percentile

Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) is just like other degrees of which students have an option. However, it has been commonly observed that the trend of doing MBA is rising among students no matter from which field they are. There is no such concept that MBA is only for the business graduates. Doctors, engineers, and many other professionals are now enrolling for MBA Exams and likewise the institutes are focusing on this degree.

Why students are running for MBA?

Few years ago, it was observed that firms are hiring individuals having an MBA degree. Not only is this, but students now feel that whether their job is service-oriented or product-oriented, having some knowledge of business administration is a key factor in polishing their skills. Due to these factors, a sudden increase in doing MBA has observed in the past few years.

Is MBA alone enough for a bright career?

Although demand for MBA students is still present in the market but students should clear this concept that having just an MBA degree cannot assure a bright career. Since competition is rising, firms want to have exceptional skills in their employees. Thus, on-job experience, extra courses in the respective field and many other additional skills are required to ensure a good future.

Do students get good jobs after MBA?

One biggest concern of many students is about getting a good job. Since every other institute is now offering an MBA program and students are running towards it, does it result in getting a job or not? The answer varies from person to person. Many students with a high GPA is MBA are still jobless when their peers are working at great positions in reputable firms.

Is MBA worth doing?

No matter how many students are getting MBA degrees every year, it still seems worth doing. However, MBA alone is nothing to satisfy a firm’s requirement. Besides doing an MBA, one should seek for other programs that can help in polishing the skills. Apart from it, selection of an institute for doing an MBA also matters a lot. Highly reputed institutes do not enroll thousands of students every year and this is the reason why their degree is highly demanding in the market. Thus, if a student is planning to do MBA, he should try to be enrolled in the best institute and should never forget to do some extra courses along with it.
