CAT 2018 is scheduled to be conducted on November 25, 2018 by IIM Calcutta. CAT is conducted every year by any of the IIMs on a rotational basis. The scores are not only used by the IIMs to shortlist for further rounds but are also considered by many other top B-schools in the country.

CAT 2018 Exam Details

In CAT 2018, there will be 3 sections namely, quantitative aptitude, verbal ability & reading comprehension, and logical reasoning & data interpretation. The exam will have 100 questions of 3 marks each and will be of 3 hours. In the paper, there will be MCQs and Non-MCQs (TITA) from each section.

Except for the TITA questions, there is a negative marking of 1 mark for each incorrect attempt. Also, the CAT questions are designed in a way to test the overall capabilities of the candidates.
