One common question which is the mind of every interviewer is that “why should I hire you” or any particular person. Selecting an ideal person from the horde of candidates is a difficult task for the one having an authority to judge the potential candidates. There are some key qualities, which a person should have to be hired. These qualities are discussed below:

1. Competitive advantage

The term “competitive advantage” is used to describe a unique quality that makes something stand out of the box. When there are so many options for an interviewer, one thing that makes him select a particular candidate is his unique quality. It can be some project related to the job, any specialized course, his appealing character, his academic skills, and so on. It is because of their exceptional way of interacting with the interviewer, their academic skills and their way of telling the interviewer that why they are the perfect fit for the job.

2. Ability to grab opportunities and overcome weaknesses

One thing that most interviewers ask is about the strengths and weaknesses of the candidate. The interviewee should describe that how he manages to overcome his weaknesses and what techniques does he use to grab the opportunities. Giving a smart answer in an interview is one way to make you stand out of the crowd. One should remember that whenever you are questioned about the weaknesses, tell your weakness in a way, which is beneficial for the organization.

3. Profound experience in relative field

Another essential quality is having a profound experience in the respective field. Similar job experience lets an interviewer to trust the interviewee as he has gone through the ins and outs of the job before. On the other hand, such candidate takes less time in training and development process in comparison to the one who is new and does not have any experience. Newbies do not have experience but still they sometimes are hired to a higher position.
